Davood Gozli
Biography
Davood Gozli received his PhD in experimental psychology from University of Toronto in 2015. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Leiden University (2015-2016) and Assistant Professor of Psychology at University of Macau (2016-2021). His book, 'Experimental Psychology and Human Agency' (Springer, 2019), offers a critique of experimental methods as applied to psychological questions. After leaving his academic position in 2021, Gozli has worked in market research, investment advisory, and media communication. In his spare time, he runs a YouTube channel devoted to philosophical and cultural topics. Finally, since 2020, he has been hosting an online, interdisciplinary reading group.
